Service

By creating an account or using Nocera, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including free and Pro subscribers.

Nocera is an AI-assisted world-building tool for tabletop RPG players and dungeon masters. The service is provided by Nocera Labs and is currently in early access. Features, limits, and pricing may change as the product matures.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Notify us immediately at hello@nocera.app if you believe your account has been compromised.

You may not create accounts for others without their knowledge, share your account with others, or use automated means to create accounts.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Nocera. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

You may use Nocera for any lawful creative or game-related purpose. You may not:

• Use the service to generate or store illegal content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the AI system
• Circumvent usage limits or billing through technical or other means
• Use the service to harm, harass, or impersonate others
• Introduce malware or attempt to compromise the infrastructure

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules without prior notice.

Free plan. Available with no payment required. Subject to the limits described on our Pricing page (currently: 1 campaign, 25 entities, 50 AI messages/month).

Pro plan. Billed monthly at $8/month via Stripe. Pro access is activated immediately upon successful payment and continues on a recurring basis until cancelled.

Cancellation. You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time from Settings → Billing. Your Pro access continues until the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time.

Refunds. We handle refund requests case-by-case. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@nocera.app.

Price changes. We will give at least 30 days notice before increasing the Pro subscription price. Notice will be sent to your account email.

You own everything you create in Nocera — your campaigns, entities, notes, and chat content. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

By using the service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your content solely as needed to operate the service (e.g., sending chat context to the AI on your behalf).

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

The Nocera name, logo, app design, and underlying code are owned by Nocera Labs. Nothing in these terms grants you a right to use our trademarks or branding.

Nocera is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties — express or implied — about reliability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. AI-generated content may be incorrect, inconsistent, or unexpected; always review extractions before treating them as authoritative.

We are in beta. The service may have bugs, downtime, or data issues. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain reliability but cannot guarantee uptime or data integrity.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nocera Labs will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill — arising out of your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You may close your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without refund.

Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated to your account email at least 7 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
